What content is included?
Currently includes Grade 3 Upper Semester Units 1-2 (41 characters), plus themed sets for colors and seasons (10 characters). Each character includes stroke order animation, pinyin, definition, 6 related words, 6 idioms, and 4 example sentences.
Does it work offline?
No, an internet connection is required to load character data and HanziWriter stroke animations. However, all processing happens in your browser for privacy.
Can I adjust the learning speed?
Yes! You can set the rotation interval (30-120 seconds) and choose from three animation speeds (slow/normal/fast). You can also manually navigate using arrow keys.
What grades is this suitable for?
Currently optimized for Grade 3 Chinese textbook content, but useful for any learner studying elementary-level Chinese characters. More grade levels will be added soon.
How does the pronunciation work?
The tool uses browser TTS (Text-to-Speech) for character pronunciation. You can toggle character pronunciation, stroke sounds, and word explanations in the settings.
